Marriage
Her death certificate gives her parents' names as Joseph Hellman and Eva Weggley. No Joseph Hellman with a wife Eva can be found in census records.They were no closer than second cousins according to their marriage record. It is believed that Sarah Jane's father was George Helman since he has a wife Eve and a daughter named Sarah born about 1859 in the 1860 and 1870 censuses. That would make them first cousins since Adam's mother, Catharine Helman, and Sarah Jane's father, George Helman, were brother and sister.
