John Conner Senior sold his personal property to his four oldest children Jacob, George, and John Conner and Mary Stiffey for $5 "as well as for divers good causes rendered to me heretofore provided they...pay all my just debts which I acknowledge myself to be indebted." His personal property consisted of one wagon and ?, one plow and harrow, two mares and three last spring colts, four milk cows, three heifers, three year old calves, three last spring calves, one large iron kettle, three pots, twenty sheep, two guns, one log chain, two mattocks, one sprouting hoe, two corn hoes, pair draft chains, one tea kettle, seven hogs, dresser, furniture all including two beds and clothes together with sundry other items including all my personal property.Endnotes
