Notes
Burial
The name of the cemetery where he was buried is difficult to read on the copy of the death certificate but is Elwell Cemetery according to his obituary in the Alma Record. There is a Wolfe monument with the name Father on the stone with his birth and death dates at Riverside Cemetery in Alma, Gratiot County, Michigan. The sexton records for this cemetery show that the owner of the plot is Mrs. N. M. Wolfe. He appears to have been buried in Elwell Cemetery originally and his remains were later moved to Riverside Cemetery.Endnotes
