Robert William Holt
(Abt 1800 - 6 Jul 1862)
"Robert Holt became a partner in Robinson Shipyard business. Later he acquired 12,000 acres in three ranches, one for each of his sons. The area covered what is now Wahiawa, Schofield, and Makaha. Soon Owen, the son, was running all three. Robert Holt left a considerable amount of cash, a hotel, and other properties" (Oukah, Hawaiian Royal & Noble Genealogies, p 49).
