A. Conflict: Fornander, An Account of the Polynesian Race, vol 1 p 249 lists her father as Kanae.
Conflict: Genealogy of the Chiefs, Hms G46, p 9 lists parents as Kanae and Kaolali, child of Kalaninuiamamamo and Kapaihi.
B. Because she is fathered by her mother's father, she "became an Alii-naha one of the ancient ranks of high chiefs" (McKinzie, Hawaiian Genealogies, vol 2 p 70).
