Conflict: Ahlo et al, Kamehameha's Children Today, p 131 states this is not the Kipakane that married Mr. Parker.
LIFE
She was given the name of Keliikipikanekoolaka to commemorate the incident of preparing Kaiana's remains following the battle at Nuuanu in 1795. "Kelii = royal; kipi = rebellious; kane = man; koola = in the sun; kaka = to rinse" (Newton, Roots & Branches, p 162).
