She moved with Kalanimoku to Oahu when Liholiho moved to Oahu. She died soon after giving birth to Lanihau (Kamakau, Ruling Chiefs of Hawaii, p 250). Tragically, Likelike and child died in February 1821 from the night of celebration of cannon and gun fire over the birth (Del Piano, Kalanimoku: Iron Cable of the Hawaiian Kingdom, p 16).
