Conflict: Ahlo et al, Kamehameha's Children Today, p 72 lists parents as Kekauonohi (w) and Keaupuni (k).
LIFE
A. She was adopted by Kekauonohi (Hawaiian Chiefs Biographical Abstract)
B. She attended Royal School with Liliuokalani (Liliuokalani, Hawaii's Story by Hawaii's Queen, p 8). "Meheha was dropped from the Chief's Children's School when she was found to be pregnant by Lot Kapuaiwa (later King Kamehameha V). The baby was a girl, a perfect image of him, who was named Keanolani, for Princess Ruth, his sister" (Pukui, Hawaiian Genealogies, p 1).
