heavenly place on January 13. 2009. She was 80 years old.
Hazel was bom on March 22. 1928. to Hans and Anna Thorcson. She was the fifth child of seven.
In her childhood she enjoyed being with her friends and family. She enjoyed basketball games, football games, home economics, science, music and dancing.
Survivors include Alice Fjeseth of Sioux Falls. SD. Bernice Aune of Hendricks. MN. Gladys Thoreson of Omaha. NE; Neil Thoreson of Apache Junction. AZ; Diane and Bob Gustafson of Luverne, MN. Virginia and Mark Monger of Sioux Falls, SD; two granddaughters. Candy Gustafson of Rapid City, SD. Dawn Terry Runge, of Lismore, MN; several great-grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, and all of the wonderful friends and staff at the Good Samaritan Luther Manor of Sioux Falls, SD.
The family will be present from I to 2 pm with a funeral service beginning ai 2 pm on Friday. January 16. 2009. at the Miller Funeral Home Chapel. 13th & Main, with burial at the Minnehaha County Cemetery.
