(1810 - )

From the Singsas Boka II By Lorenchia Scott

Per Pederson died in 1845 at age 50. His wife, Anne Olsdt. Hindoyhaug, remained a widow for 2 years and then married Erek Absalonsen born in Singsaas (Normon) in 1824. He was 14 years younger than Anne. Erek was in America twice but then he came back and traveled around in Blomoya area until he died at age 76. Erek and Anne had 2 children: 1. Per (died stillborn) 2. Kari who married Nils Larsen Singsaas
Anne and Erek came to America April 18, 1878 on the ship Domino. They went to New Ulm. The question is: Did Anne return to Norway or did she stay in America with her family? Erek did go back to Norway and he died at age 76. He was found on the porch of the home in Blomoya. He had an injury and was found like in a coma. Singsaas Book, 1958 edition, Bind II, page 193.
