Granville -- Justin G. Lovro, 88, Norwich, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in a Velva care center.
He was born Dec. 8, 1911, in Astoria, S.D., to Hans and Oline Lovro. The family moved to Bonetraill, near Grenora. He moved to the Granville area in 1937 where he farmed and ranched.
He married Belinda "May Irene" Folden June 22, 1940, in Minot. They farmed and ranched their entire married lives in Kottke Valley Township, McHenry County. He retired in 1991.
He was a member of the Kottke Valley Township Board and School Board. He was also a member of Rising Lutheran Church and the church cemetery board, rural Norwich.
Survivors: wife; sons, Harold, Norwich, Elton, Finley; daughters, Bonita Strand, Bismarck, Carol Carr, Minot; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Mable Hoff and Alpha Hills, both Williston, Helga Cross, Granville, Olga Odland, Velva.
Funeral: Monday at 11 a.m. in First Lutheran Church, Granville.
Burial: Rising Lutheran Cemetery, Norwich
Visitation: Today from noon to 5 p.m. in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
