Granville -- Mrs. Hans Lovro, longtime resident of this community, died today at her home following a stroke. She has been ill for several months preceding her death.
Funeral arrangements are being made at the Thompson-Larson funeral home of Minot.

LOVRO - GRANVILLE
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Granville First Lutheran church for Mrs. Hans (Oline Jorgine) Lovro, 71, who died Wednesday at her home in Granville.
The Rev. Gerald Mundfrom will officiate, and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens of rural Minot. Reviewal at the church will be held prior to the service only. Thompson-Larson funeral home of Minot has charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lovro was born Nov. 29, 1885 in Trondheim, Norway and came to Hendricks, Minn., in 1908 where she was married to Hans Lovro Oct. 24 of that year. They moved to Bonetraill, N.D. in 1919 where they farmed for 18 years, and in 1937 settled on a farm near Granville. Twelve years later they retired and moved into the town.
A member of Granville First Lutheran church and the church Ladies aid. Mrs. Lovro has served the aid in various offices. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith while living in Norway.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Justin of Norwich; four daughters, Mrs. Kolbjorn (Mabel) Hoff of Bonetraill, Mrs. Kenneth (Helga) Cross and Mrs. Lyle (Alpha) Hills, both of Granville and Mrs. Ingvald (Olga) Odland of Voltaire.
Also surviving are a sister, Petrine Haseth, and a brother, Gustav Haseth, both living in Trondheim, Norway; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

MRS. HANS LOVRO, 71, PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held Saturday in the First Lutheran church for Mrs. Hans Lovro, 71, who died Wednesday at her home in Granville. The Rev. Gerald Mundfrom officiated and a greeting in the Norwegian language was given by Rev. Carl Nelson of Minot.
Mrs. Swen Odland and Mrs. Lawrence sang one number in Norwegian and one in the English language, accompanied by Mrs. Elmer Everson. Miss Mary Odand served as organist.
Honorary pallbearers were John Odland, Clarence Cross, Ernest Hills, Gilbert Lund, Ingebrigt Singsaas, and Halvor Stover. Active pallbearers wer Selmer Odland, Harold Bolgen, Floyd Opland, Ralph Kemp, Glen Hills and Samuel Anderson. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Thompson-Larson funeral home was charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lovro was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Norway and was a member of Granville Lutheran church and ladies aid. She suffered a stroke on Tuesday morning and passed away the following day. She had been in failing health since her first stroke in August.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Justin, of Norwich; four daughters, Mrs. Kolbjorn (Mabel) Hoff of Bonetraill, Mrs. Kenneth (Helga) Cross and Mrs. Lyle (Alpha) Hills, both of Granville and Mrs. Ingvald (Olga) Odland of Voltaire.
