Individual Details
Marguerite Rose "Dolly" Grieman
(26 Feb 1912 - 1 Jun 1986)
"LOVEABLE LOVRO"
Marguerite Rose Lovro was the youngest of 12 children born in St. Paul to Stephen and Mary Grieman. She learned early in her life about responsibility and hard work - two virtues she has never lost.
She married William Albert Mullin in 1936. William and Marquerite are survived by their 7 children, Lea Marie, Patricia, Kathleen, James, William, Albert and Michael, 27 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
William and "Dolly" which she is fondly called by those who know and love her, moved to White Bear Lake early in their married life to raise their children in a country setting.
She worked out of the home for many, many years to help financially and yet she was able to teach, motivate and love all of us.
In the late '60's the Mullin family moved to Wyoming, Minnesota to reside in their dream home on Lake Comfort.
After William's death in 1970, Dolly met a wonderful man, Gilbert Lovro, whom she married in 1972 and who provided her with 14 happy and fulfilling years. She has been twice blessed in being survived by 5 step-children, Eugene, Gloria, JoAnn, Ruby and Lavonne, 23 step-grandchildren and 22 step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Theresa, Sister Lea Marie O.S.B. and Sister Thea O.S.B.
In Dolly's early years she loved to garden, can and fish (she taught all the kids how to bait their own hooks). In her later years she enjoyed and used her hands to do all types of needlework. She also loved to talk - "the gift of the tongues".
Dolly Lovro will be remembered as a warm, vivacious, hardworking, loving and genuine real person. We will all miss her dearly.
