Question from Carol Resmen: I have some questions that will confuse you even more about our family. Peter F. Olson has a sister Bertha Fjeseth and a brother Hans Olson. They were both born in 1871. Were they twins or were they born one at the beginning of the year and one at the end of the year? as it does not give the month.

Answer from Torill Jonsen: Both Berit Pedersdatter Singsåsbakk and her husband Ola Ingebrigtsen Rødsløkken had two other relationships. Ola had the daughter Berit in 1871, mother Kari Hallvardsdatter Bakåsen. Then he met Kirsti Persdatter Digre and they became parents to Hans Olsen Digre also born 1871.

Jim provides: 'The Peter F. Olson she speaks of is Peder Olsen Fjeseth born 16 Apr 1867 found on page 270 of Singsaasboka Bind III. But I don't have a clue about siblings as on that page it says:

"6. Ola, f. 1842, flytta til Klaebu i 1866, g.der 1867 m Berit Persdt Singsasbakken (dotter til Tysken?), budde i Trondheim. Barn: Peder, f 1867."
