Peder Jensen Reppe

Photo and explanation from the booklet "Lincoln County Minnesota 1873-1973:
Peder J. Bogen farm in 1890, 6 miles southwest of Hendricks in Lake Hendricks Township. Peder and Ragnihld (Overlie) Bogen were immigrants from Singsaas, Norway. They were married May 23, 1885. Jens Forseth also from Singsaas, is standing by the oxen hitched to the dump rake. He was Peder's father, had lost his wife, and now lived with the Bogens. Ina (married a Trulock) was born 4-4-86, and Jay was born 2-29-88. Clara Bogen Trulock was born 6 years after this picture was taken. Miss Dorothy Kirkvold (Later Mrs. Peder Forseth) is sitting in the buggy - she acted as the photographer's guide in the area. This house was later enlarged and remodeled. Alden Dorn now owns the farm. Only a granary is still intact on the farm.
