Clara Overlie

Clara Overlie, daughter of Theoline Gurslie Overlie and Sam Overlie, was born Sept. 3, 1901 on a farm near Hendricks, MN and grew up there.
After her marriage to Ingvald E. Lovro on Dec. 3, 1921 at Singsaas Lutheran Church, Hendricks, MN, the couple farmed near Hendricks for several years. They then moved to Sioux Falls in 1930.
She was a member of East Side Lutheran Church, where she was very active in both the ALCW and the Missionary Society.
Grateful for having shared her life are 2 sons, Stanley and Luther, both of Sioux Falls; 2 daughters, Mrs. Sherwood (Stella) Berkness, Browns Valley, MN and Mrs. Myron (Elaine) Larson, Redfield, SD;16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Berthine Bakke, Sioux Falls; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ingvald on June 10, 1975; a brother, Joseph; and a sister, Christine.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in the East Side Lutheran Downstairs Fellowhip Hall prior to leaving for Hendricks for interment.
