== Biography ==John Commin or Commyn of Copford and Easthorpe, Essex, was perhaps the Johannes Cowman baptized in Bocking, Essex, on 23 July 1561, which is only 11 miles from Copford.
He married in Copford between 1590 and 1594 [[Green-7587|Amy Greene]], the daughter of John Greene of Great Birch, Essex. She was perhaps the Amy Greene baptized in Aldham, Essex, on 25 May 1572 as the daughter of John Greene.
