Birth: AUG 1668, Henrico County, Virginia. This William Hudson I appears to often be considered the progenitor of the "Hudsons of Hanover" branch.http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=redbirdacres&id=I0634
The two children of William, named Charles, reflects difficulty in merging the two Charles Hudson instances. Marriage to Royall is controversial and the latter generation connection to Ragland is not supported with sources that would help one judge accuracy of naming that Mary as son of Charles.
