==Biography== Sir Edmund de Lacy, 8th Earl of Lincoln was born in 1230 at of Pontefract, Yorkshire, England, a minor at his father's death. He married Alisia de Saluzzo, daughter of Manfredo III, Marquis de Saluzzo and Beatrice of Savoy, in May 1247 at Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England; Married early in May. They had 2 sons (Sir Henry, Earl of Lincoln, Constable of Chester; & John) and 1 daughter (Margaret, wife of Sir George de Cantelowe). Sir Edmund de Lacy, 8th Earl of Lincoln died on 2 June 1258 and was buried at Stanlaw Abbey, Yorkshire.
