John Argall

(Abt 1450 - Bef 1521)

== Biography ==John Argall III was born in 1450, most likely in Tregloseck, Cornwall, England. His father was John Arcall (aka Argall) Jr. (II) and his mother was Catherine (Pullin) Argall.
John Argall III was a lawyer on the Archbishop of Canterbury's Estate at Lambeth, Surrey, England. There is no proof of the place of his birth; however, there is proof that he owned the property at Tregloseck, St Keverne, Cornwall. He was, most probably, a Church Lawyer.
Because he was concerned with property in Cornwall, it is quite possible that he was born there. He was his father's oldest son. He later lived in a house on the Archbishop of Canterbury's estate at Lambeth, just outside London in Surrey.
John Argall married Emme Botcher [Ermine Butcher] in 1499 in Lambeth, Surry, England. Emme was born 1465 in Lambeth, Surry, England. She died in 1522 in Lambeth, Surry, England. They had at least one son, Thomas Argall.
In the visitation of Essex in 1612, John Argall III is described as having been 'a gentleman of London'.
