== Biography == }Christian I Oldenburg, known as "the Quarrelsome", King of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Born circa February 1426 at Oldenburg, Germany.
He was the son of Dietrich Oldenburg, Count of Oldenburg and Hedwig Herzogin von Schleswig-Holstein. He married Dorothea von Hohenzollern, daughter of Johann Markgraf von Brandenburg-Kulmbach and Barbara von Sachsen-Wittenberg, on 26 October 1449 at Copenhagen, Denmark. He died on 21 May 1481 at Copenhagen, Denmark.
He gained the title of Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein. He succeeded to the title of King Christian I of Denmark in 1448.2 He succeeded to the title of King Christian I of Norway in 1448.2 He succeeded to the title of King Christian I of Sweden in 1457.2 He was deposed as King of Sweden in 1464.
