==Biography==JOAN HOLAND (HOLLAND), daughter of Thomas de Holand (Holland), K.G., 2nd Earl of Kent, by Alice, daughter of Richard de Arundel, Knt., Earl of Arundel and Surrey [see KENT 10 for her ancestry], married before 4th Nov. 1393 EDMUND (YORK) OF LANGLEY, K.G., 5th son but 4th surviving son, born at King's Langley, Hertfordshire 5 June 1341. She was born about 1380-4 (aged 24 in 1408, aged 28 in 1411, 36 in 1416), and was co-heiress in 1408 to her brother, Edmund Holand (Holland) K.G., 4th Earl of Kent. They had no issue.
