==Research Notes==:I have added a link to the Scots Peerage, Volume 5 which names this Annabel as the daughter of Hugh Campbell and not George. and I have now added a link to the peerage.com which has her as the daughter of George Campbell, citing several sources.(AB)
There is a conflict between The Peerage and the Scots PeerageThe Scots peerage has Annabella as the daughter of Hugh Campbell, who was the son of George Campbell. George Campbell had married secondly Marion Auchinleck in 1484. It was this marriage that led to the successful claim by Thomas Boswell for the lands of Auchinleck. There were others who also claimed them.Hugh Campbell would have been only 15 in 1491 when Annabella was born, and he did not marry Isobel Wallace until 1495 so is unlikely they are the parents of Annabella Campbell born 1491 who married Thomas Boswell, which led to the Boswells holding Auchinleck. https://archive.org/details/scotspeeragefoun05pauluoft/page/492
