Elizabeth was one of two sisters, daughters of Sir John Forrester (d. c. 1448) of Corstorphine, Knt. She married Sir Alexander de Lawedre, Knt., later, briefly, 'of Haltoun'.''The Peerage of Scotland'' by Sir Robert Douglas, Bt., 1813. George de Lauedre (Sir Alexander's brother) is one of the witnesses to a charter of Sir John de Forrester of Corstorfyne, Knt., dated at Corstorfyne 2nd March 1425 and confirmed on 25th February 1426.''The Great Seal of Scotland.''
