Janet married about 1460 to John Garden. They had issue:

John and his spouse Janet were granted a one twelfth part of the lands of Innermeith in Perthshire by his father who held one sixth part of Innermeith.RMS Vol.ii 826 see [https://archive.org/details/registrummagnisi02scot/page/176/mode/2up]
In time John inherited the part of Innermeath retained by his father and mother.Walter, Lord Innermeith made an Instrument of contract with John Garden and his spouse Janet Innes granting them two parts of the lands of Durlathers and Glaslaw and mill of Glaslaw. John and Janet lived in Durlathers while their son lived in Glaschelo (Glaslaw).
John died about 1495 and was survived by his wife Janet Innes and his son and heir John.
On 2 April 1498, Patrick Dempster raised an action against John the son of and Janet Innes the widow of the deceased John Garden for the unlawful occupation of the two parts of the lands of Durlathers and Glaschelo and its mill. At the hearing Janet said she had a warrant and she was instructed to show this at the next sitting on 1 June. The Acts of the Lords of Council in Civil Causes. At the next hearing on 18 June 1498, the Lords of Council accepted Janet;s rights and instructed Thomas, Lord Innermeath to ensure that Patrick Dempster would not disturb her occupation of these lands and mill.
