*Elizabeth Barlow married, firstly, Alexander Elphinstone, 1st Lord Elphinstone, son of John Elphinstone of that Ilk and of Pittendriech, before 1507.
*She married, secondly, John Forbes, 6th Lord Forbes, son of William Forbes, 3rd Lord Forbes and Lady Christian Gordon, before 29 July 1515.2 She died in 1518.
*She was an Englishwoman in the Household of Queen Margaret (wife of King James IV of Scotland and sister of King Henry VIII of England).
*From before 1507, her married name became Elphinstone. From 1515, her married name became Forbes.
