== Biography ==The wife of Sir William, 1st of Douglas is not known for certain. His second son Brice was Bishop of Moray. The name of Freskin of Kerdal is listed among the benefactors of the bishop's first cathedral of Spynie whom Brice refers to as uncle, suggesting that his mother may have been Freskin's sister. Although nothing is known of Freskin's ancestry he is supposed to be of the family De Moravia (or de Moray) based on land holdings in Strathnairn. The proper name Margaret is speculative.
