== Biography ==
:Sir Andrew Douglas of Hermiston was born between 1225 & 1240. He is the second son of [[De Douglas-5|Archibald De Douglas]] and [[De Crawford-31|Margaret De Crawford]], though his mothers identity is speculative. Sir Andrew was the progenitor of the Morton Branch of the clan. He founded the Douglas Family of Dalkeith. He died after 1259.
