== Biography ==Donald was the son of William, Earl of Mar & his first wife Elizabeth Comyn of Buchan. Married (after 1266) as her second husband, Helen, widow of Malcolm Macduff Earl of Fife, daughter of --- (-after 16 Feb 1295)
Donald and Helen had five children: *Gratney, d. before Sep 1305, m (1292 or after) as her first husband, CHRISTIAN Bruce, daughter of ROBERT Bruce Earl of Carrick & his first wife Margaret Ctss of Carrick (-[1356/27 Jan 1357], bur Dunfermline).
*Duncan, d. after Aug 1296*Isabel, m. Robert Bruce, Earl of Carrick, who became Robdert I, King of Scotland
*Margaret, m. John Strathbogie, and *possibly [Margaret] wife of Malcolm Earl of Lennox (she could have been Donald's sister, not daughter.)
