Prather Sondheim McDonald

(Mar 1887 - 9 Oct 1932)

Attended Harvard Law School. Died in car accident in New Yorker in collision with Hoover truck. Younger brother William Percy, Sr. took the case to the US Supreme Court to force insurance companies to pay under circumstances similar to the one in which Prather died.

His first wife Corrine Latham died of cancer.

His second wife Margaritte Solvay was born in Vise, Belgium and the daughter of the man who invented the process to make soda in soft drinks. The process is named after him: solvay. She died of influenza in the national flu epidemic of 1918.

His third wife wife Helen Meyer from Brooklyn, NY threw herself from his office window in Memphis, TN.
