Mary Royston left her undivided half interest in the tract of land on
which she had resided to James Royston, son of her sister, Viney for use
during his natural life, then to his son, Benjamin in fee. Mary also left
a bed of choice to her niece, Eliza Peters Richards, wife of William, a
daughter of her sister, Betsy Peters. All other property of Mary was left
to Benjamin, son of James, when he became 21.

James Royston filled out a questionaire in his later years, which gave
information of his family and his service dunn. He identified his
grandparents as, John Royston who was a foreman at a furnace. Patience as
John's wife, and Melvina Royston as his mother. Thus the aforementioned
gives information of the family of John and Patience to include but not


necessarily restricted to three daughters; Melvina, Mary A, Betsy, a
grandson, James Royston, a granddaughter, Eliza Peters, and a great
grandson, Benjamin Royston.
