Mrs. Camie Mahaffey Praytor, 63, of Fletcher, died Thursday night in an
Asheville hospital following a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. The Rev. Chick Holbert and the Rev. Troy Lunsford will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers and granddaughters will be flower bearers. The body will be taken to the home at 3 p.m. today where it will remain until it is taken to the church for services. Surviving are the husband, W.M. Praytor; four daughters, Mrs. Verna McMinn and Mrs. Marvin McMinn of Fletcher, Mrs. Tommy Israel and Mrs. Howard Hudson, both of Arden; six sons, Otho, Carroll, Williard, Martin Jr., Lee J. and Paul Praytor, all of Fletcher; five sisters, Mrs. C. E. Praytor, Mrs. Curtis Glenn and Mrs. Hubert McMinn of Fletcher, Mrs. Grover Smith of Horse Shoe and Mrs. Sarah Ducker of Fletcher; one brother, D.S. Mahaffey of Fletcher, 48 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
