Was this 1842 or 1843? There should be one more page -- there are always 4 witnesses to these promises to marry. You can see the last printed paragraph on the third page says e quattro testament..... Such bad handwriting? Here is what I can decifer:Record of Solemn Promise to Celebrate Marriage No. 70, TerminiDated: 28 July 1842Married: 30 July 1842 Before me, Mariano La Mantia, Mayor of the town of Termini appeared Onofrio Di Cola, age 22, born and living in Termini, a miller, son of the late Giuseppe and of Giuseppa Vivirito, age 50, living in Termini; AND Antonina ????? Rinella, single, age 17?, born and living in Termini, daughter of Michele, age 60, a gardener, and the late Salvadora Battaglia.Onofrio Di Cola, the grandfather of the groom and the father of the bride and the mother of the groom were present and gave their consent.Documents presented were:1.
