Birth
I am not using Maria's death certificate for birth information. As we have 2 better sources, that I am using.. The death certificate affirms her parentsInterpretation from her birth record:Record of Birth No. 585, Termini On 26 November 1843 at the hour of 16 at the town hall of Termini appeared Giuseppa Vivirito in Mantia, age 36, a resident of Termini, and presented a female baby said the baby was born of Antonina Aglieri Rinella, age 20, living in Termini and her husband Onofrio DiCola, age 22, a miller, on the 25th of the month November at the hour of three at the house where they reside. The declarant further stated the baby was given the name Maria. The witnesses were Giuseppe Guccione, age 50, a porter, and Filippo Mendalera, age 30, a porter, both living in Termini. Only the official signed, the declarant and witnesses could not write. Margin: The infant Maria Di Cola was baptized at the church in Termini on the 26th of the current month and year.Endnotes
