Chester O. Hager, 54, died unexpectedly late Saturday at his residence, 716 Tilmore Dr. A graduate of Central High School, he had resided most of his life in the Muncie community. He has been associated with Applegate Advertising Agency Inc. for 34 years.
Surviving are a sister,, Mrs. Harold Melvin, Indianapolis, and two sisters-in-law, Miss Helen Bechtel and Mrs. Olive Hauck, both of Muncie.
Mr. Hager's wife, Margaret Bechtel Hager, died several years ago.
Funeral services will be at Meeks Mortuary at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Robert Denny officiating. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and prior to services Tuesday.
