Arnold G. Staley, 80, a resident of Village of Laurel Run, and formerly of 6647 Wayne Highway, Waynesboro, Pa., died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at the nursing home.
Born July 8, 1927, in South Mountain, Pa., he was the son of the late Edward T. Sr. and Minnie B. Lookabaugh Staley.
He was employed at Hess Manufacturing, Quincy, Pa., for 40 years.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 1758, Waynesboro, Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1191, all of Waynesboro.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Virginia M. Kauffman, Ruth Swisher, Marvilla G. Bolin and Elva Dunn; and four brothers, Edward T. Staley Jr., Milford W. Staley, Mervin W. Staley and Doyle E. Staley.
