THOMAS R. PRINDIVILLEThomas R. Prindiville, 82, of Kirkland, Ill., formerly of Roselle, died Sunday, April 18, 2004, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Born Aug. 22, 1921, in Chicago, he was the son of William and Grace (Conway) Prindiville. He married Doris M. Banks on March 17, 1956, at St. Catherine of Genoa Church in Genoa. He was a retired lieutenant with the Chicago Fire Department.He was a member of St. Catherine of Genoa Church in Genoa. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy and was a chief gunner's mate on a ship during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was a graduate of Kirkland High School and The Utilities Engineering Institute of Chicago.He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Roberta Prindiville and Jane (George) Larsen, both of Kirkland; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1990; and three brothers, Francis, Ed and William Prindiville.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Quiram-Kirkland Funeral Home, 309 S. Fifth St., with the Rev. Aloyisius Neumann officiating. Interment will be at Maple Cemetery in Kirkland.
