Edward W. PrindivillePrayers for Edward W. Prindiville, 82, of Elgin, will be said at 9:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at O'Connor & Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. The Rev. Richard Russo will officiate.Mr. Prindiville, who was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Chicago, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996 at home. Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery in Genoa, Ill.He was a member of St. Thomas More Church. After 38 years of service, he retired in 1979 from The Milwaukee Railroad, where he was a supervisor.He was the husband of Roberta (nee Worden) whom he married on September 18, 1937 in Belvidere, Ill.; father of Ron (Judy) Prindiville of Kingston, Ill., Roberta (Jim) Dahlke of Perry, Iowa, and Deborah (Brian) Sabin of Elgin; brother of Thomas Prindiville of Kirkland, Ill.; grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of 12; uncle and great-uncle of several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Grace (nee Conway) Prindiville; his brothers, William (Buck), and Francis Prindiville.Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. …Endnotes
