CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Emma M. Seville Brant, 96, of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of McConnellsburg, Pa., died Monday, June 14, 2004, at the center.
Born Oct. 20, 1907, in Needmore, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Schooley Fittery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Seville Sr., in 1974.
She was a former employee of Sagner's Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg.
She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church in McConnellsburg and attended Clayton Memorial Church of God in Mercersburg, Pa.
She is survived by two daughters, Stella M. Mellott of Mercersburg and Olive M. Cisney of McConnellsburg; one son, David E. Seville Jr. of Scotland, Pa.; one stepson, Hayes Seville of Waynesboro, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pauline Monn; one stepson, Thomas Seville; eight sisters and brothers; and four grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg. The Rev. J. Howard Meyers will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a. m. at the funeral home.
