Notes for DANIEL ELLER:
The 1850 census of Randolph Township, Montgomery County, Ohio reports that Daniel and Elizabeth were both born in Maryland. The 1860 census of the same township shows that they were born in Pennsylvania. (the different reports may be explained with the changes of state borders of Pennsylvania and Maryland. In some documents Washington County is shown in Pennsylvania instead of Maryland.)
On August 8,1814 Daniel ELLER bought the NE quarter section of section 6 in Randolph Township, Montgomery County, Ohio totaling 160 acres. It appears that he still retained the tract in 1850 as his real estate was valued at six thousand dollars at the time.

Of the Joesph ELLER (1808-1864), his estate was settled in 1871; and to the heirs of DANIEL ELLER (Joesph was Daniel's brother) went
1/80th of the estate to wit: Moses ELLER, Margret KINSEY, Arron ELLER, Daniel ELLER, Henry ELLER, Sarah WARNER, Susanna SMITH, Fanny DOHNER, Elizabeth RODNEY (Elizabeth RODNEY is in a wrong list of heirs pertaining to the issues of Henry ELLER III receiving 1/60th).
