Source: The Fulton County News, McConnellsburg, Pa., December 14, 2000 Pauline I. "Polly" Keith HILL, 83, a resident of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab Center of Chambersburg, died Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at 8:10 p.m. at the center.
Born September 23, 1917 in Wells Township, Fulton County, she was a daughter of the late Russell Austin and Effie (Fix) KEITH She was married to Nathan W. HILL of Shippensburg. They were married on June 23, 1975.
She was a former employee of Stanley Company of Chambersburg, retiring in 1980. Early in her life, she had worked pulling bastings at home. She had enjoyed gardening and dancing. Surviving are two daughters: Bonnie Lue, wife of Thomas HOUSER, Marion, PA and Joan, wife of Frederick TOWNSEND, Mt. Holly Springs, PA; three sisters: Helen SHEEDER, Orbisonia; Eleanor, wife of Fred LONG, Baltimore and Madonna, wife of Boyd SMITH, Fayetteville; two brothers: Melvin, husband of Almeda KEITH, Hustontown and Lloyd, husband of Genevieve KEITH, Three Springs; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg Friday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. John A. Ile officiated. Burial was made in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
