Myrtle was the daughter of William Franklin Pry Sr. and Ida Ann Smith. Her husband was the late Charles F. Holland. She was the mother of 2 sons
Myrtle was born on Sept. 16 1918 in Spruce Hill, Pennsylvania to William and Ida Pry and was the youngest girl of 16 brothers and sisters. She grew up in Lewistown, Pennsylvania and then lived in Uniontown with her husband Chuck. They later moved to Akron, Ohio and were married for 32 years. She was a loving mother to her two boys and a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother.
Myrtle was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Akron where she served as caterer for many years and enjoyed participating in the Keystone Class and the United Methodist Women's Club-Hanna Circle. She was a great cook and avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all sports and cheering for her beloved Penn State football.
