Death
William E. S. Garber, 84, of Pitsburg, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Heartland of Greenville. Mr. Garber was born in Montgomery County on September 19, 1927, the son of the late Milton and Huldah B. (Miller) Garber. He was a member of the Painter Creek Old German Baptist Church. Bill was a self employed farmer, also working as a custodian in the Milton Union School System. He formerly was employed by Trotwood Trailer Company and Royal Crest Dairy. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Nannie B. (Rutrough) Garber, who died September 19, 1999, Step Brother Raymond Garber, Step Sister Anna Garber, Half Sisters Opal Lavy and Orpha Musser. He is survived by his Daughter Virginia Baker and husband Kenny of Arcanum; Son Roger Garber and friend Marcia of Huber Heights; 4 Grandchildren Barbara (David) Miller, B. J. (Michelle) Baker, Billy (Kristi) Garber, and Eric (Michelle) Garber; 8 Great Grandchildren; and Brother Emanuel Garber of Greenville. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Painter Creek Old German Baptist Meeting House with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 5 - 8 PM at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum. A prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home 9:00 am Thursday. Family suggests memorial contributions to Arcanum Community Rescue Service, P.O. Box 177, Arcanum, OH 45304-0177.
