Death
YORK Frank Gurreri, 59, passed away peacefully at his home in York on January 23, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Vicki (Gemberling). Born September 8, 1955, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Frances (Accardo) Gurreri. Frank was a graduate of York Catholic High School. He was the proud owner of Quick Six South and Zingers, which he shared with his wife. Frank was kissed by JFK as a baby, was the only known person to knock out the champ, Sugar Ray Robinson, as a boy during a family gathering, and could effortlessly drive a golf ball 300 yards. He cherished spending time with his cousin, Bill, and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Bill, and Aunt (Sissy), whom he cared for. He is survived by two nephews, Michael of York, and Larry of New York City. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., where he will be laid to rest next to his wife. Frank will be greatly missed by his loved ones. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York PA 17406. Arrangements entrusted to the John W.
