Death
TROY - Ed Brumbaugh, 80, of Troy, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at his residence. He was born on June 5, 1932, in West Milton, to Aubrey and Susan (Bashore) Brumbaugh.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years of marriage, Ruth Ann (Young) Brumbaugh; his son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Nancy Brumbaugh of Casstown; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Tim Beckman of Greeley, Colo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herb and Barbara Brumbaugh of Covington; Marvin and Dorothy Brumbaugh of Laura and Betty Brumbaugh of Dayton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice Sue and Bob Middlestetter of Arcanum; Linda and Jerry Sherick of Fla.; grandchildren, Jason Brumbaugh; Lydia (Fiance, Heath Boyes) Strode; Micah Strode; step-granddaughter, Jessica (Mike) Thompson; great-granddaughter, Syriha.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Wehrley and one brother, Calvin Brumbaugh.
Ed was a 1950 graduate of Milton-Union Schools. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy; Troy Fraternal Order of the Eagles; Troy Fish and Game Club and Troy Senior Citizens. He was retired from Hobart Brothers Company, Troy, after 45 years of service and 38 years of service with the vity of Troy at Hobart Arena.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Dave Leckrone officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
