The Dolsen family was close to the Field and Chrysler families. All three Families elected to remain loyal to King George III when the American Revolution began in 1776. JohnMilitary Service
Dolsen's sons joined the Loyalist forces of Butler's Rangers in 1778, and their homestead farms were confiscated by the American Rebel Congress.Age
