Notes
Residence
Family lived in a rented house at 8511 Idaho Avenue in Carondelet; valued at $1,500.Residence
The 1933 city directory indicate that Joseph Homer and Eva Hayman owned and resided at 7526a Michigan Avenue. Their son, Homer Herman Hayman, is also listed as a renter at this address. Another sources suggests the family had already moved to Rolla, Missouri, in about 1932. It is well known that city directories were not promptly updated year by year, so between this and the estimated date of the other source, this discrepancy is not unexpected.Residence
In 1932, Joseph Homer Hayman moved his family to reside at the "Stark Nursery Farm" in Phelps County, Missouri, east of Rolla, where he worked as caretaker until his death in 1934. The nursery was likely one owned by Stark Brothers Nurseries and Orchards of Louisiana, Missouri. See:https://www.starkbros.com/about
