When Isabel was 6 the family moved to Trousdale County, Tennessee so the
children could go to a better school. She met Roy while visiting a friend. A
year later she left school at 16 to marry Roy. They eloped across the state
line to Simpson County, Kentucky. They lived most of their lives in Lebanon,
Tennessee. She worked at the McFarland Hospiltal as a clerk for Doctors Sam
McFarland and Lowe. Her death was due to prolonged heart trouble. Her grave
is behind that of her Mother-in-law, Martha Elizabeth Hodge.
