Aymes GLIDEWELL
(1619 - Bet 1650 and 1661)
"The father of Aymes Glidewell died when Aymes was about 10 or 11 years old, and the widow made out the best she could in London as a seamstress. Apparently she received little or no help from her family, suggesting that her marriage had not been well received. When Aymes was 15 or so, his mother also died."
Aymes was sent to America to two of his mother's brothers who had already gone there. He arrived in Boston in 1635.
