She was bornJan. 5, 1916, in Monongalia , a daughter of the l a t e Ch arles and MableSpurgeon Shisler. She was a 50-year plus member o f t h e Mellon Chapel United Methodist Churc h; a member of the Ladies Qu il t ing Group at Mellon Chapel and Rock Forge N eighborhood House. She w a s a h omemaker and raised and fed her family of ni ne children. She is s u rv ived by five daughters and spouses, Roberta and Don Corwi n, of West o v er, Shirley L. and Raymond Corwin, of North Olmstead, Ohio, a nd JoAn n a n d Robert Rockis, Karen S. and Robert Guminey and Norma J.and J ohn R o h ozen Jr., all of Morgantown; three sons and spouses, Ronald E. a nd J u a nita Keener, of Masontown, Darrell R. and Jan Keener, of Rocky Rive r , O hio, and James A. and Judy Keener, of Avon Lake, Ohio; a daughter-in- l a w , Barbara Keener, of Morgantown; two sisters, Celia Bray and Delore s T h o mas, of Morgantown; three brothers, George Shisler and Neil Shisl er , b o th of Morgantown, and Charles Shisler, of Charleston, S.C.; 20 g r an dchildr en, Donald and Diana Corwin, Clay and Beth Corwin, Scot Corw i n , Barry Corw in, Doug and Chris Corwin, Carrie Corwin, Kim Keener, Pa u l a nd Tina Keene r, Marianna and Grant Mott, Bobbie Jo and Scott Frede r i ck, Robert V. K e ener, on Aug. 30, 1995; a great-grandson, Danie l, and two sisters, V i o la Dunn and Roxie Campbell. Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home o n T h ursday, Feb. 6, 2003, fr om 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, Feb. 7, f r o m 10 a.m. untilthe ti me of service at 11 a.m. with Dr. Stacy L.
